Twitter reacts: John Hume turns 80 years old
Former SDLP leader and peacemaking pioneer John Hume turned 80 today and several high-profile names have been quick to send him birthday wishes on Twitter.
The Derry man's name was trending on the social network this morning thanks to tweets from the SDLP's Colum Eastwood, Mark Durkan and Sinn Fein's Martin McGuinness.
