From the archive: Rubber bullet victim Richard Moore bound for U.S.A. - January 1973
The trip was arranged through Dr. Raymond McClean, Derry, vice-chairman of the Bloody Sunday Committee, and Mr. Dan Herlihy, a Cork man now residing in Worcester, Massachusetts, who is chairman of the Committee for Justice in Northern Ireland.
Dr. McClean met Mr. Herlihy on a visit to Boston.
Later Mr. Herlihy wrote and asked what assistance he and his committee could render.
It was then that Dr. McClean mentioned Richard’s case and since then things progressed and will culminate in Richard’s visit to Worcester.
He will leave on Sunday accompanied by his family.
