Derry COVID-19 rate rises slightly to 92.9 cases per 100,000

Between May 4 and May 10, there were 140 cases giving a seven day rate of 92.9 cases per 100,000, up slightly from 88.9 yesterday.
Ards and North Down (6.2), Mid and East Antrim (18), Belfast (20.2), Lisburn and Castlereagh (19.3), Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon (26.7), Fermanagh and Omagh (29.1), Mid Ulster (39.3), Antrim and Newtownabbey (40.7), Newry, Mourne and Down (43.3) and Causeway Coast and Glens (48.5), all have lower rates than Derry Strabane.
The average rate for the north is 33.9.

Hide AdThe daily change in the cumulative number of patients with a positive test in Derry and Strabane between May 9 and May 10 was 25.
In total 12,440 people have now tested positive for the illness in Derry and Strabane.
A new breakdown of the number vaccinations by postcode shows that 46,953 have been administered in BT48 and 49,876 have been administered in BT47 - 96,829 in total in Derry.
