Bail application adjourned for address '˜far out of this city'

A bail application for a man accused of a domestic assault has been adjourned to see if he can get an address '˜somewhere far out of this city'.

Jonathan Coups, of Glenside Road, is charged with grievous bodily harm with intent.

The 30-year-old is further charged with common assault and false imprisonment.

The charges relate to two separate incidents between November 15 and November 20, last year.

Police objected to bail in the case because there is a domestic history between Coups and the alleged injured party.

The application was adjourned until January 25th and Coups was remanded in custody.
