Derry COVID-19 rate falls slightly to 56.4 cases per 100,000 and remains the highest in the north

Between April 2 and April 8, there were 85 cases giving a seven day rate of 56.4 cases, down slightly from 57.1 yesterday.
Derry Strabane is still posting the highest COVID-19 rate in the north.

Hide AdMid and East Antrim (13), Fermanagh and Omagh (16.3), Lisburn and Castlereagh (21.4), Ards and North Down (23), Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon (23.9), Antrim and Newtownabbey (28.7), Belfast (29), Newry, Mourne and Down (31.6), Causeway Coast and Glens (33.3) and Mid Ulster (34.6) all have lower rates than Derry/Strabane.
The daily change in the cumulative number of patients with a positive test in Derry and Strabane between April 7 and April 8 was 15.
In total 11,796 people have now tested positive for the illness in Derry and Strabane.

Hide AdIn total 102,570 vaccine doses have now been administered at the three mass vaccination centres in Derry, Omagh and Enniskillen.
Across the north GPs have rolled out 435,336 jabs. In total 987,819 vaccines have now been administered at PHA centres and by GPs in the six counties.
